Summary

This website does not track you. It does not use cookies. It does not use analytics. It does not embed third-party scripts. There is nothing on the site to opt out of, because nothing tracks you in the first place.

What we collect

From the website: nothing. The site is static HTML. It doesn't set cookies, doesn't load external resources, doesn't log visitor data beyond what nginx writes to its standard access log (IP address, user agent, timestamp) for operational purposes.

From purchases: when you buy Serverpacemaker, the payment is processed by our payment provider. They collect your email address and payment details. We receive your email address and confirmation of payment. We do not see or store your card details.

From emails: if you contact us at hello@serverpacemaker.com or any other address, we store that email and our reply in our mail provider (Proton). We use it only to respond to you.

What we don't collect

  • No cookies
  • No analytics (no Google Analytics, no Plausible, no Fathom)
  • No tracking pixels
  • No fingerprinting
  • No third-party fonts or scripts
  • No advertising networks

Third parties

Two third parties are involved in running Serverpacemaker:

  • Payment processing: our payment provider handles all transactions. They are PCI-DSS compliant and store your payment details. We never see them.
  • Email: Proton (Swiss-based, privacy-focused) hosts our mailboxes. Emails to and from @serverpacemaker.com are stored on their servers.

Your rights

If you've purchased Serverpacemaker or emailed us, you can ask us to:

  • Tell you what data we hold about you (it's just your email address and purchase record)
  • Delete your data (we'll remove your email and purchase record from our records, keeping only the minimum required for accounting)
  • Correct your data if it's wrong

Data retention

We keep purchase records for as long as required for tax and accounting purposes. Emails are kept until you ask us to delete them.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the "Last updated" date at the top will change too. Material changes will be announced on the blog.
